Northshore Exteriors was created in 2015 to assist with the straight line wind storm that hit Leelanau, Grand Traverse, and Wexford Counties. All three counties were declared disaster zones by FEMA due to the widespread devastation. Joe Faunce, a native of Grand Traverse County, decided to leave his position with a nationwide storm restoration company to move his family back to the area to launch Northshore Exteriors and start a new life in his home town.
